Westside Paper Rezoning
As the chair for the Howell Station zoning committee I worked with Third & Urban, Upper Westside Community Improvement District, Zoning Review Board, and residents of Howell Station to come to an agreement that included improved bus shelters, 60% AMI low income housing, and up to 3 million dollars for local infrastructure improvements.
mt. ephraim rezoning
When a multifamily developer sought to rezone the site of a historic church for apartments and townhomes I approached them for collaboration early in the process.
I engaged with the developer & local community to shape the development to preserve old growth trees and historic architectural elements of the former church.
Through negotiations I also helped secure much needed funding for a local park, security cameras, and infrastructure improvements such as parking, bus shelters, and a bike lane.
PROJECT GRANITE
Project Granite is a huge development – over 1.15 million square feet. The bulk of it being two data centers, plus roughly 250,000 square feet of offices, 400 apartments, and 50 townhomes.
During their rezoning process I worked with City Council members, Atlanta Beltline Inc., Upper Westside Community Improvement District, Zoning Review Board, and representatives of QTS to come to an agreement that included a donation of over a million dollars for local infrastructure and public space improvements.
I also helped secure an easement within the development crucial to Beltline construction that had been stuck in negotiation for over five years.
